After more than 8 years in Online Marketing I decided in 2018 to follow my passion and move into the broad and exciting field of Product Management. Since then, I have the pleasure to enjoy working with topic experts and with a mixture of tech, UX/UI design, business, customer centricity and collaboration, which makes it hard to get bored even just a single day. As Principal Product Manager at Haiilo I am not only supporting and pushing various internal overarching initiatives from the Product perspective, but I am also working as Product Manager in a dedicated customer aligned Product team.
At Haiilo, based in Hamburg, but operating within whole Europe and also in the US, we changed our way of working from Scrum, Kanban and Scrumban in March 2024 to Shape Up, a method first described and invented by Ryan Singer. Since then, a lot has changed for the whole Product & Tech teams, but also for the whole company as a result for that - in a positive way. And I love to spread the word about this method and encourage other Product organisations to really give it a try if they are not happy with their current way of working.
